Mallari's Braces

Mallari is on the first stage of braces and these are the "before" shots. In the top of her mouth is an expander. It will push her upper teeth apart making room to straighten them out. The botton is a lip bumper. It will push her lower teeth apart making room to straighten out the bottom. Her mouth is so little her teeth seem huge. We lovingly call her "Snaggle Teeth" and she laughs and makes a funny face with her teeth over her lower lip. It is a good thing she is so stinkin beautiful so she can get away with messed up teeth. I will keep you updated on her progress!

1st Day of School

The kids first day of school 08-25-08. Kennedi is in 5th grade, Riker is in 4th grade and Mallari is in 2nd grade.

Boating

Saturday the 23rd we went boating with Mark and Lisa to Utah Lake. The kids had more fun than I can describe. Todd and I laughed at them the entire day. I laughed so hard my ribs ached! They LOVED the entire day. I know there are a lot of pictures here but I took 111 and had to decide which ones to put on here. I hope you like them.Mallari's mouth was hurting her so she got sad. She is too cute not to take a picture of that!

Our kids LOVE Mark and LisaPotential Family Christmas Card? Maybe not!The kids got on the tube. At first they were nervous about being pulled behind the boat so they just played on it and jumped off of it into the lake or in some cases pushed eachother off or fell off. They had a lot of fun doing that.

They got brave and wanted to go slow. It was really fun for them and they loved it. The bumping hurt Mallari's mouth so she only went one time but Riker and Kennedi spent a ton of time out there. It took a while but after a while, they got really brave and let Mark drive the boat faster and faster. This was a great way to end the summer break!



Just so you know, I did get on the tube and was pulled behind the boat. I did NOT last very long and tried 3 times. There are pictures but there is no way in hell they are going on this blog. My coordination and sexyness would blow your mind!

The Kids in St. George/Us in Flaming Gorge

Todd and I took a vacation to Flaming Gorge with Mark and Lisa. We loved being out on the boat and looking at all the beautiful scenery. I took some pictures but they just don't do it justice. It is amazing there!!

We went up to the Visitors Center to check things out from up above and found this cool crevice we could climb inside of. Here is proof that I am more adventurous than I look.

We stayed in some cabins called Twisted Timber and they had some "wildlife" to play with. I loved playing with and taking pictures of the kittens. They tried to eat our food and come in the cabins. They were so stinkin cute. I named them Snowball, Morris and Socks. Todd came up with Whitey, Greyey, and Stripes. I think mine are better.

We were going to take a raft down the Green River but we got some iffy weather so we took a tour of the Dam. This is the first year they will let you take pictures so I took advantage of it. It was really beautiful and interesting.

While Todd and I took a vacation to Flaming Gorge, we sent the kids to St. George with Traci and Meyah. It looks like they had a lot of fun. Todd and I missed them so much and we are glad that Traci and Mom took pictures for us - Thank You!!!

Playing in the Water

The kids cooled down by playing in the water out back. I took the picture of Meyah holding the hamster "Stefani" just to freak out Traci.
